Formal mantra and ritual requirements vary by lineage. Begin with respectful devotion and obtain qualified guidance before undertaking specialised practices.

Placement practices vary. Request guidance for the actual design and installation, and distinguish the room location from the direction the Yantra or worshipper faces.

Choose Thursday. After a bath, clean the puja space and place the yantra on a red or yellow cloth. Sprinkle Ganga jal, apply kumkum or sandal paste, and offer flowers, rice and a ghee diya. Chant "Om Hleem Baglamukhi Namah" 108 times. After that, a short daily prayer or lamp is enough.

Wipe the gold-plated copper plate gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soap, lemon, acids, abrasive powder or polish, which can remove the finish. If you offer water during puja, dry the yantra immediately afterwards and keep it away from damp walls.

Yes. Many families keep several yantras together in the home mandir. Place the main family deity at the centre and arrange the yantras around it, keeping each one clean and visible. There is no rule against keeping graha yantras and deity yantras in the same place.
