Aerate Your Child’s Study Room
Clogging your study room with too many furniture pieces or fancy stuff can ruin its energy. The more you fill the room with miscellaneous things, the more chocked your child will feel.
Create positive energy in your child’s study room by keeping some plants and splashing green/orange/yellow paints on the walls. These colours will energize your child and fill him with positive energy. When you/or your child is studying, open up windows and create good ventilation.

Restore the health of your Mercury

Mercury is highly malefic when placed in the houses 6th, 8th or 12th. The location of Mercury in these houses can affect your child’s memory and his inclination towards education.

1. Feed green fodder or moong dal to the cows regularly or at least every Wednesday.
2. Regularly chant the mantra, 'Om Budh Budhaye Namah', at least for 21 days for good and higher education purposes (the mantra can also be chanted 108 times depending on your child’s capacity). It is preferable if your child chants this mantra in the morning, especially at sunrise.
3. Feed soaked green gram to the birds.
4. Wrap a few green moong seeds, cardamom seeds and Durva in a green cloth and offer it to lord Ganesh every Wednesday.
Wear Copper
Copper is a metal that is widely known to boost blood circulation. Wearing it not only purifies your child’s blood but also helps them to remain active. Owing to the study pressures, your child might succumb to anxiety, pressure and negative emotion.
Wearing copper in a long chain will keep their negative emotions in check and ward off fear. Copper will bring about psychological balance in your child and also boost his immune system.

Worship Maa Saraswati

1. Keep a picture of Maa Saraswati in the study room of your child or in the shrine you have in your house.
2. Every morning, after bathing, your child can offer her white flowers, chandan and light a ghee diya and incense stick.
3. The results will be stronger if you place a small idol of lord Ganesh besides the idol/picture of Maa Saraswati.
4. After worshipping the goddess, your child can chant her Beej mantra, ‘Om Aim Saraswatye Namah,’ at least 21 times, preferably in the morning. The results will enhance if they chant this mantra 108 times (depending upon his concentration).
Worshipping Maa Saraswati is one aspect to strengthen your child’s education. But besides this remedy, it’s essential that you keep your child’s study room, especially his desk, clean. Keeping cleanliness is equal to worshipping Maa Saraswati herself.
Keep away from junk and acidic foods
Besides the above remedies, it’s very important that you control your child’s eating patterns. The effects of the above remedies will enhance if you feed the right food to your child. This is also applicable to you in case you’re studying or appearing for competitive exams.
Eating junk and acidic foods will lead to apathy and significantly hamper your child’s memory. Eating junk foods releases the hormone ‘dopamine’ in the brain. Dopamine is a happy hormone. The release of this hormone will lead to further cravings for the junk food in your child.
Eating simple sattvic and home-cooked meals will boost memory, increase concentration, create sound psychological balance and build up confidence.
