In Vedic Astrology, the planets Rahu and Ketu are considered malefic and serpent planets. They deal with the hidden, eccentric, spiritual, or perverse sides of life. They represent the moon's north and south nodes, which are the most interesting, mysterious, and intense of all the planetary influences in Vedic astrology. Rahu and Ketu are always opposite each other, 180 degrees apart.
According to Vedic wisdom, each planet is an expression of our divine consciousness. In astrology, the most influential nodes generally bring together the Earth (body), the Sun (soul), and the Moon (mind). Rahu represents knowledge, whereas Ketu represents the most influential forces in human life. But many orthodox astrologers see Rahu and Ketu as natural malefic planets. Kaal Sarp Yog is formed when all seven planets occur between Rahu and Ketu. If the positions of Rahu and Ketu in the Natal chart are in front of each other. If Rahu is placed in the first house, then Ketu will be in the seventh house. And if the remaining planets are located between the first and seventh houses, the result of all these combinations is the Kaal Sarp Yog. In the opposite case, if Planet Mars is placed at 10 degrees with Planet Rahu, and Rahu's degree is less than Mars', the Kaal Sarp does not exist in that chart. Rahu and Ketu’s degrees must be more than the planets placed with them. Kaal Sarp Dosh Yog, in general, causes the native to struggle in all aspects of life, including health, wealth, career, profession, love, marriage, children, love, marriage, and so on.
