5 Most Powerful Sri Ganapati Mantras to Chant This Ganesh Chaturthi
Ganpati Bappa Morya! Mangal Murti Morya!
Ganesha is one of the most beloved and charming amongst the Hindu Gods. His elephant head and huge torso with a massive belly is the highlight of Ganesha’s magnificent form. He is known as the God of intelligence and the remover of all obstacles. This is one of the main reasons why Ganesha is worshiped before any other deity. This is also the reason why he is also known as Vighnaharta, where ‘Vighna’ denotes difficulties.
Ganesha being one of the favorite Gods, we all have our own ways of worshiping him and as times progresses people have changed their chanting, singing to express their devotion to their loving Ganesha. At the same time, in some ways, we have also come a long way ahead from our vedic roots and customized our love and devotion with a very contemporary track. Take for reference the recent Bollywood soundtracks, or the Ganesh Chaturthi slogans and chants, or the Twitter memes, and the contemporary Ganpati slogans and chants, these are far away from the Vedic Ganapati mantras and Shlokas of ancient scriptures.
There are a variety of modern hymns and slogans like 'Garam Jalebi, Fafda, Ganpati Bappa Aapda', and 'Tapeli Ma Sheero, Ganapati Bappa Hero' to 'Na China, Na Korea, Ganpati Bappa Moriya' to the modern remix 'Ek Do Teen Chaar Ganpati Ki Jay Jaykaar', and so far the best of all the remixes which is 'Modak Ko Thoda Round Ghumake, Bappa Ke Jaisa Damru Bajake, Ganesh Ko Thoda Mouse Pe Bithake, Aajao Sare Mood Banake, All The Bappa Fans, Don't Miss The Chance'. While these are fun and liked by almost everyone, it is imperative that we also remember our Vedic roots and recite the traditional Shlokas and Mantras celebrating Ganesha.
As a matter of fact, any devotion we offer to Shri Ganesha with a pure heart and intentions will be accepted by Ganesha, the ancient scriptures have ensured that we chant specific words and salutations which invoke divinity and positivity within us.
