More about Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj) 8.58 Carat (9.4 Ratti) Cushion – LY1090

Description
Yellow sapphire belongs to the corundum family, the same mineral as ruby and blue sapphire. It is very hard (9 on the Mohs scale), just below diamond, so it suits continuous daily wear. Its yellow colour comes from traces of iron in the crystal.
Most yellow sapphires on the market are heat-treated, which is permanent and widely accepted. Beryllium diffusion and look-alikes such as yellow topaz or glass also exist, so only a gem lab report can confirm species, natural status, treatment and origin.
Who is this for?
People with Sagittarius, Pisces, Aries, Leo, Cancer or Scorpio as their lagna (ascendant), and anyone advised by an astrologer to strengthen Guru (Jupiter). It is traditionally worn for finance and career, for timely marriage (especially by women), for children, and by students, teachers, lawyers, bankers and consultants. It is usually avoided for Taurus, Virgo, Libra and Capricorn lagnas, so get your kundli checked before wearing it.
