Red Coral (Moonga) 9.12 Carat (10.0 Ratti) Oval Cabochon – LCD23
More about Red Coral (Moonga) 9.12 Carat (10.0 Ratti) Oval Cabochon – LCD23

Description
Red coral, called Moonga or Praval, is an organic gem. It is not a mineral crystal but the hardened skeleton of tiny marine animals (coral polyps), made mostly of calcium carbonate, which grow slowly in branching colonies on the sea floor. The best-known source is the Mediterranean Sea.
Because it is organic and soft (about 3 to 4 on the Mohs scale), red coral is almost always polished as a smooth cabochon or carved into beads rather than faceted. Colour ranges from orange-red to deep red, often with fine natural growth lines on the surface.
Who is this for?
People with Aries, Scorpio, Cancer, Leo, Sagittarius or Pisces as their lagna (ascendant), where Mars rules helpful houses, and anyone advised by an astrologer to strengthen Mangal. It suits people in roles that need courage and drive, such as the armed forces, police, sports, surgery, engineering and property. As Moonga is a planetary gemstone, get your kundli checked by an astrologer before wearing it.
