Nepali 2 Mukhi Rudraksha (Gol Dana)

Traditional significance

The two-faced tradition represents unity through Ardhanarishvara. A rounded Gol Dana bead can serve as a personal symbol of that devotion in a pendant or prayer space. Its significance rests in a worship practice that the owner finds meaningful, alongside everyday care for relationships.

Ruling deity and planetary association

Deity: Ardhanarishvara, the united form of Shiva and Shakti.

Moon/Chandra is a common two-faced association in Rudraksha traditions. This is a religious and astrological interpretation, not a measured property of the bead or a promised remedy.

Mantra

Om Namah | ॐ नमः

Use the mantra as part of a prayer routine you understand. A short, attentive recitation is a simple starting point; ask your priest for pronunciation and instructions if you follow a formal ritual.

How to wear or use

Begin with clean hands and a clean, dry bead. Offer your usual prayer and recite your chosen mantra, then place the bead on a secure, comfortable thread or suitable pendant fitting. A loose bead can also be kept in a dedicated prayer space.

Remove the bead before bathing, swimming, applying perfume or doing work that could expose it to chemicals or damage. Keep pendants and loose beads away from young children. Follow your family or priest for observances particular to your tradition.

Best day to begin wearing

Monday is a customary choice for Shiva-Shakti worship. Follow your priest's or family's ritual guidance when beginning a new devotional practice.

An auspicious day can have personal meaning, but it is not a guarantee of an outcome. Choose a practice you can continue with care.

Style tip

Use a mounting suited to the actual dimensions of the rounded bead. A plain chain or thread keeps the shape visible and helps you judge whether the pendant sits comfortably.

Care and storage

Brush surface dust gently and inspect the cap and thread. Avoid destructive cutting, prolonged soaking or copper-coin rotation as authenticity tests.

Keep the bead in a dry pouch when it is not being worn. Check the thread and any mounting regularly. Ask for care instructions for the particular cap before using a jewellery cleaner; keep cleaning chemicals away from the bead.

Choosing your finish and checking the piece

Loose Bead and Silver Capping are separate purchase options. Compare the finish, available-piece photographs and measurements before ordering. If metal composition, a thread, a chain or authentication documents matter to you, ask what is supplied with that exact option.

Natural appearance can vary, but variation alone does not prove authenticity. Ask what examination or documentation is available for the piece. Product photographs should help you assess the item; they do not establish a laboratory result.

What does Gol Dana mean in this listing?

It identifies the rounded form offered in Vedic Rishi's Nepali 2 Mukhi listing. Confirm the dimensions and appearance of the available piece rather than assuming a standard size.

Why is Gol Dana priced differently from Dehradun 2 Mukhi?

These are separate catalog varieties with different listed prices. Ask the seller about sourcing, form, dimensions and documentation to understand the specific piece you are comparing.

Does a more expensive 2 Mukhi give better relationship results?

Price does not establish a relationship outcome. Choose the bead on documented product qualities and devotional preference, and continue the practical work of communication and mutual respect.
