Choose Sunday or at sunrise any day. After a bath, clean the puja space and place the yantra on a red or yellow cloth. Sprinkle Ganga jal, apply kumkum or sandal paste, and offer flowers, rice and a ghee diya. Chant "Om Bhur Bhuvah Swah Tat Savitur Varenyam" 108 times. After that, a short daily prayer or lamp is enough.

Puja and Vastu tradition suggest keeping it in the east, at eye level or on the altar, with the front of the yantra facing you during prayer. Keep the place clean and avoid bathrooms, the floor or the space under a staircase.

Wipe the gold-plated copper plate gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soap, lemon, acids, abrasive powder or polish, which can remove the finish. If you offer water during puja, dry the yantra immediately afterwards and keep it away from damp walls.
