Shri Dhanvantari Upasana Yantra

Dhanvantari is the deity associated with Ayurveda. The product is a devotional object, not a medicine or therapeutic device.

Upasana means devotional worship or contemplation. This name describes the devotional purpose; other Dhanvantari designs can have different inscriptions.

No. Do not make treatment or disease-removal claims. Prayer may accompany personal belief while medical concerns receive qualified care.

Use a reliable Sanskrit text, transliteration and meaning from your tradition. Confirm the actual inscription and seek pronunciation guidance before formal recitation.

It may be meaningful where the practitioner values this devotional tradition. Keep religious symbolism separate from clinical claims, credentials and patient-care decisions.

Choose Dhanteras (Dhanvantari Jayanti) or a Thursday. After a bath, clean the puja space and place the yantra on a red or yellow cloth. Sprinkle Ganga jal, apply kumkum or sandal paste, and offer flowers, rice and a ghee diya. Chant "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Dhanvantaraye Namah" 108 times. After that, a short daily prayer or lamp is enough.

Puja and Vastu tradition suggest keeping it in the east or north-east, at eye level or on the altar, with the front of the yantra facing you during prayer. Keep the place clean and avoid bathrooms, the floor or the space under a staircase.

Wipe the gold-plated copper plate gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid soap, lemon, acids, abrasive powder or polish, which can remove the finish. If you offer water during puja, dry the yantra immediately afterwards and keep it away from damp walls.
